The SK830 is a professional "Modular" machine. It does not have a built-in pattern computer. To knit patterns electronically, you MUST have one of the following (sold separately):

• Silver Reed EC1 Pattern Controller (for reading Mylar sheets)
• Silver Reed PE1 Design Controller
• Silver Reed PC10
• Design-a-Knit (DAK) Software + Silver Link Cable
